The given equations are

2x + y - 35 = 0 -(i)

3x + 4y - 65 = 9 -(ii)

x/(-65 + 140) = y/(-105 + 130) = 1/(8 - 3)

x/75 = y/25 = 1/5

--taking x/75 and 1/5

x/75=1/5

5x=75

x=75/5

x=15

--taking y/25 and 1/5

y/25=1/5

5y=25

y=25/5.

y=5

x = 15, y = 5

So, the solution is (15, 5)
