Cross represent a uniform magnetic field directed into the paper.A conductor XY placed in the field carries current in Y to X direction.Find the direction of the force represented by the conductor.Name the rule applied.What will happen to the direction of force if the direction of field and direction of current both are reveresed?

magnetic force is vector quntity of elementary length of conductor and magnetic field
F=i(dlxB)
dl elementary length of conductor
B is magnetic field
now , direction of force is downward
apply the right hand thumbs rule
if change the direction of force and magnetic field just opposite then force is also change just opposite i.e. upward
