Th e answer to the question that, cross validation technique provides results when the training set and the testing set are from two different populations, is true.

The reason why this provides accurate results because when a message is sent to the receiver, then after receiving message the the receiver sends a feedback with the object of cross checking, which shall be able to determine the accuracy of the message sent.

Ans.

When a cross-validation message is sent to an individual, they can check whether they have received the correct data or information.

It helps them to crosscheck and make sure that they have received the right information without any mishap or missing items.

So Cross-validation method will provide correct results when a testing set and training set are from two dissimilar populations.
