C-Monitor
CRT Belongs to Monitor.
- Traditional computer monitors and televisions employ the CRT technology. The phosphorous tube at the rear of the CRT display is where electrons are fired to produce the image on the screen. They get illuminated and projected onto a screen when the phosphorus is heated by an electron.
- CRT was once a common abbreviation for a computer display terminal. Although computer screens have long since transitioned from CRTs to LCD panels, the name "monitor" is now correct (see flat panel display). Similarly, CRTs are no longer used in TVs (see flat panel TV).
- Biventricular pacemakers, also known as cardiac resynchronization devices, are used in cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) to provide electrical signals to both of the heart's bottom chambers (right and left ventricles).
- Both CRT and LCD are display technologies. While LCD is a more recent technology, CRT is an older one. The picture production technology utilised by CRT and LCD is one of their key differences. Whereas an LCD display uses liquid crystal display to create an image on the screen, a CRT display uses an electron beam to create an image.
