Yeah its a kind of tricky question :P

Temporary change: A change which can we brought back to its initial form

Permanent change: A change which remains to the new form forever, cannot be brought back to its original form.

Now which category is suitable for a crushed paper?

We all know once a paper is crushed, we cannot bring it back to the initial form without those marks and foldings.

So should we put it in permanent change?

Hold on not yet.........

Paper can be brought back to its initial form without a slightest change, by using machines. So its possible to  bring back to its initial form.Which fulfills the criteria of a temporary change.

Hence Crushing a paper is a temporary change.
