Given:-

  • C.S.A of a right Circular Cylinder = 4.4m²

  • Radius of Cylinder = 0.7m

To Find:-

  • The T. S .A and Height of the Cylinder.

Formulae used:-

  • Curved Surface area = 2πrh

  • Total Surface area = 2πr ( r + h )

Now,

→ Curved Surface area = 2πrh

→ 4.4 = 2 × 22/7 × 0.7 × h

→ 4.4 = 44/7 × 0.7h

→ 4.4 × 7 = 44 × 0.7 × h

→ 30.8 = 30.8 × h

→ h = 30.8/30.8

→ h = 1m

Therefore, The Height of Cylinder is 1m

Now,

→ Total Surface area of Cylinder = 2πr ( r + h )

→ 2 × 22/7 × 0.7 ( 0.7 + 1 )

→ 44/7 × 0.7 × 1.7

→ 44/10 × 1.7

→ 74.8/10

→ 7.48m²

Hence, The Total Surface area of Cylinder is 7.48m²
