HERE IS UR ANSWER DEAR,

GIVEN :

CYLINDER:

CSA = 264 m²

volume = 924 m³

TO FIND :

ratio of height to its diameter.

SOLUTION:

csa \: of \: cylinder \:  = 2\pi \: r \: h \:  {m}^{2}

2\pi \: r \: h \:  = 264 \:  {m}^{2}  -  -  -  - (1)

rh =  \frac{264}{2\pi}

volume \: of \: cylinder = \pi \:  {r}^{2} h \:   {m}^{3}

\pi \:  {r}^{2}  \: h \:  = 924 {m}^{3}

\pi \: r \:( r \: h )\:  = 924

\pi \: r \: ( \frac{264}{2\pi} ) =924

r \:  = 924 ( \frac{2\pi}{264\pi} )

r = 7m

then \: diameter \:  = 2r = 2(7) = 14m

then \: applying \: r \: value \: in \: (1)

2 \times ( \frac{22}{7} ) \times 7 \times h = 264

h = \:  \frac{264}{44}  m

h = 6m

then \: the \: ratio \: will \: be

 \frac{height}{diameter}  =  \frac{6}{14}  =  \frac{3}{7}
