Answer:

1) Cactus and acacia plants withstand hot and dry environment of the desert with the help of various modifications. They have thick cuticle on their leaf surface and their stomata are arranged in deep pits to minimise water loss by transpiration.

2)Ecology is the study of the interaction of organisms in an area with the surrounding environment. This interaction constitutes an overall adaptation of the organisms to their environment which also includes the continuity of species.

3)There are many adaptations that has occured gradually from primitive man to modern man such as:-

Highest level of genetic variation in the DNA has occured.

Development of pottery vessels increased gradually.

Evolution occured in sweat glands,

Dental arcadefrom U shaped to parabolic,

Loss of bidy hairs,

Development if chin,

Development of styloid process

Development of descended larynx.
