CsCl reacts with gaseous HCl at room temperature but NaCl doesn't .Why?

There will be no chemical reaction at all except you got a saturated solution of NaCl and add HCl. You will see a precipitate of NaCl then again. But that’s a physical reaction!

srushave: We know that NaCl is an ionic compund while HCl is a polar covalent molecule. Both contain chloride, and HCl is acidic while NaCl is neutral. Adding HCl into NaCl is just an acidification. Nonethelss, NaCl/HCl is useful in various redox reactions as chloride ion serves as reducing agent while hydrogen ion aids in reduction process to form water molecule.
