To be soluble, the lattice enthalpy of the salt should be less than hydration enthalpy. In case of LiF, it is the opposite. The lattice enthalpy is very high due to small size of fluoride ions (compared to other Halide ions); the hydration enthalpy is very less. Hence, LiF is insoluble in water.
