Answer:

Since 1965, the state has been governed by the Communist Party of Cuba. ... Cuba is one of a few extant Marxist–Leninist socialist states, where the role of the vanguard Communist Party is enshrined in the Constitution.

Answer:

You see, they are very small as countries. I agree, in some aspects, they've grown, as Cuba has a great medical system, and Vietnam is virtually developed in everything. Problem is, both have had autocratic governments. For example, the Vietnamese have no freedom, of the press, and practically anything. The same is with Cuba.

I believe if a country has to develop, it has to fulfill certain norms, and they haven't had fulfilled them yet. So, even though they've been disturbed by the US, and its allies, yes, they have flourished, but, both countries need to walk a long way before they can say, "The job is over."

Thanks,

Elinor.
