integers are ...........-2, -1, 0, 1, 2, .... ..

positive integers are 0,1,2,3.......

in the expression

cuberoot y + y square

or y^(1/3) + y^2

the exponent of first y is 1/3 which is not positive integer. Hence, the expression is not polynimoal
