Taking each side of the cube as 'a',

  • Volume of the cube = i.e., amount of space occupied =

  • Lateral surface area of the cube (L.S.A) = i.e., area of the sides = 4a²

  • Total surface area of the cube (T.S.A) = i.e., area of the sides, top and base = 6a²

Hope it helps!
