In the question they given that ;

Height of the cuboid = 1.5 units
Total Surface Area of the cuboid = 47.5 sq. units
They asked is to find the breadth of the cuboid
So;
Let the breadth be " x " units .
Hence ,
The Formula for the Total surface area of the Cuboid is 2 ( l × b + b × h + h × l )
Here is the solution;
2 ( l × b + b × h + l × h ) = 47.5
2 ( 5 × X + X× 1.5 + 5 × 1.5 ) = 47.5
2 ( 5x + 1.5x + 7.5 ) = 47.5
2 ( 7.5 + 6.5x ) = 47.5
15 + 13x= 47.5
13x = 47.5 - 15.0
13x = 32.5
x = 32.5 / 13
x = 2.5
x = 2.5 cm

Breadth of the cuboid is 2.5 cm .
