Cuco3 decomposes on heating to form cuo and co2. when 123.5g of cuco3 is decomposesd completely, then 75.5g cuco3 is formed. calcuate the mass of co2 formed .which law of chemical combination will you use in solving this problem?

it's 123.5-75.5=48
because mass of reactant is equal to mass of product

as per law of conservation of mass matter can neither be created nor destroyed. I.e mass of reactants =mass of products.
reactants= 75.5g +Co2=123.5
CO2=123.5-75.5=48gms
CO2=48gms
