Joule/Coulomb = Volt

Resistance depends directly on the length of the conductor I.e to the first power.

Resistance depends inversely proportional to the area of it's cross section.

When the current flowing through multiple resistors Is same they're said to be in series.

When the voltage that is the potential difference accross the ends of the multiple resistors is same they're said to be in parallel arrangement.

Tungsten has a very high melting point and hence it is used as filament in bulbs.

Tungsten does not get melt easily even at high temperatures, that is indirectly when large currents would flow through the circuit and hence it can't be used as an appropriate fuse material.

Alloys are used to make heating elements of heaters because they have higher melting points than the individual corresponding metals and hence they can be appropriately used as heating elements.

Conventionally, the direction of electric current is taken to be opposite of the direction of movement of electrons

It should be made of nichrome because alloys have higher melting points and top of that they have higher Resistivity so that they can get heated faster.
