Solution :—
*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣*⃣
.............................................

Given,

Principal (P) = ₹ 1200

Rate (R) = 7% p.a.

\bold{Time \: (T) = 6 \: \: months} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bold{ = \frac{6}{12} \: \: years} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \bold{= \frac{1}{2} \: \: years}

Now,

\bold{SI = \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \bold{= Rs \: \: ( \frac{1200 \times 7 \times 1}{100 \times 2} )} \\ \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \bold{= Rs \: \: 42}
