cunductors are the substances which allow the electric current to pass through them. they are mainly copper, aluminium, etc.
While insulators are those substances which doesnot conduct electricity.
e.g. wood, pastics and polymers etc.

conductors-1) allow current to flow through them easily 2) they have very low resistivity 3)eg- metals like iron, copper etc.
insulators-1) do not allow electric current to pass through them easily 2) have very high resistivty
3) eg paper, wood etc.( mostly non metals)
