Curd sets in 4-5 hours in summers but takes longer time in winter.Why?

the bacteria present in curd is Lactobacillus, these bacteria grows well in the temperature like 30-40 degree. so making of curd becomes faster. but in winter as the temperature is low these bacteria cannot grow well so it take time to set curd
