Given ,

Electric power (P) = 100 W

Potential difference (v) = 230 V

We know that , the product of potential difference and current is called electric power

Mathematically ,

 \boxed { \tt{Electric  \: power \:  (P) = VI}}

Thus ,

100 = 230 × I

I = 100/230

I = 10/23

I = 0.33 Amp

Therefore , the current passing through the bulb is 0.33 amp
