ans 1- There are two main types of ocean currents: currents driven mainly by wind and currents mainly driven by density differences.

ans 2- equatorial current, ocean current flowing westward near the equator, predominantly controlled by the winds.

ans 4- When the currents are moving in a circular manner they will move in clockwise in Northern Hemisphere and anti-clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere.
