Curved surface area of cylinder

= 2πrh

4.4= 2×22/7 ×0.7×h

4.4=4.4h

h= 1 cm✔

Solution :

Let the height of the cylinder be 'h'.

Given:

Radius of the base of cylinder (r) = 0.7 cm

C. S. A. (cylinder) = 4.4 cm²

As we know that:

\implies \boxed{\sf{C.\:S.\:A.\:of\:cylinder = 2\pi r h}}

So, we get:

\implies 2πrh = 4.4 cm²

\implies 2 × 22/7 × 0.7 × h = 4.4

\implies h = 4.4/4.4

\implies h = 1 cm

Hence,

The height of the cylinder is 1 cm.
