Answer:

CSA of cylinder =2πrh

4.4= 2*22/7 *0.7 *h

h = 4.4*7*0.7/44

h = 1 m

Given:-

  • Curved surface area of a right circular cylinder is 4.4 m².
  • Radius of the base of cylinder is 0.7 m.

To find:-

  • Its height.

Solution:-

  • Let the height of the circular cylinder be h.

Formula used:-

\star{\sf{\boxed{\orange{CSA\: of\: cylinder = 2 \pi rh}}}}

\tt{\longrightarrow{4.4 = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times 0.7 \times h}}

\tt{\longrightarrow{h = \dfrac{44 \times 7}{2 \times 22 \times 0.7}}}

\tt{\longrightarrow{h = \dfrac{30.8}{30.8}}}

\tt{\longrightarrow{\boxed{\red{h = 1m}}}}

Hence,

  • the height of circular cylinder is 1m.
