Hello dear.

Surface area of cylinder =440cm2

⇒2πrh=440cm 2

⇒2× 22/7 ×3.5×h=440

⇒h= 154/ 440×7

=20cm

hope this helps u ☺️

Answer:-

\green{\bigstar}The diameter of the base is 4 cm.

Given:-

Curved surface area of a right circular cylinder = 440 cm²

Height = 35 cm

To Find:-

Diameter of its base = ?

Solution:-

We know,

\boxed{C.S.A \: of \: Cylinder = 2 \pi rh}

here,

π = 22/7

h = 35 cm

r = ?

440 = 2 \times \dfrac{22}{7} \times r \times 35

440 = \dfrac{44}{7} \times r \times 35

440 = 44 \times r \times 5

440 = 220 \times r

r = \dfrac{440}{220}

r = 2 cm

Diameter = 2r

2 × 2

4 cm

Therefore, the diameter of the base is 4 cm.
