Answer :

  • The curved surface area of cylinder is 440cm²

Given :

  • Radius = 7cm
  • Height = 10cm

To find :

  • Curved surface area of cylinder

Solution :

As we know that,

  • Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

where, r is radius and h is height

》Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

》2 × 22/7 × 7 × 10

》2 × 22 × 10

》44 × 10

》440

》440 cm²

Hence, Curved surface area of cylinder is 440cm²

More Explanation :

  • Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r + h)
  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h
  • Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh
  • Where ,r is radius and h is height
