Hey,

Given informations are:

radius = 3 cm

height = 4 cm

The formula for finding curved surface area of right circualr cone = pi×r×L

Where L = √h²+r² = √4²+3² = √16+9 = √25 = 5 cm

So curved surface area = 22/7×5×3 = 330/7 cm²

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU

AnswEr:

We have,

  • r = 3 cm
  • h = 4 cm

Let l be the slant height of the cone. Then,

 \qquad \tt \:  {l}^{2}  =  {r}^{2}  +  {h}^{2}  \\  \\  \implies \tt { l }^{2} =  {3}^{2} +  {4}^{2}   \\  \\  \implies \tt \: l =  \sqrt{25}   \: cm = 5 \: cm \\  \\

\therefore Area of the curved surface = πrl

  \red\rightarrow \tt \: ( \frac{22}{7} \times 3 \times 5)  \: {cm}^{2}   = 47.14 \:  {cm}^{2}
