Here's ur ans :-
When Curved surface area is subtracted from total surface area then the result will be the area of the top and bottom of the 3D figure.
For example :-
T.S.A of CuBe - C.S.A of cube
6a² - 4a²
2a²
______
and the area of the top and bottom of the Cube is 2a² .
Hence Verified!!
