The harmones involved in Cushing’s disease is ACTH (Adreno Cortico Tropic Harmone).
Excessive ACTH stimulates the adrenal cortex to produce high level of cortisol, producing Cushing disease which is a specific type of Cushing Syndrome which in turn is caused by pituitary tumor which further leads to excessive production of ACTH
