Given equation is  cx^2+(c+d)x+d=0

       cx^2+(c+d)x+d= 0

       cx^2+cx+dx+d= 0

       cx (x+1)+ d(x+1)=0

       (x+1)(cx+d)=0

       x+1=0 ;cx+d=0

       x=-1;cx=-d

       x=-1;x=-\frac{c}{d}

Therefore the value of x= -1 and the root of x= -c/d
