Cotyledons of Cycas:

• Option “A” is correct i.e. Naked ovules.

• Cycas have 2 cotyledons but not included in

angiosperms because of naked ovules or seeds.

• Cycas fits to order Cycadales of gymnosperms since it has the naked seed. It is not surrounded by fruit. It also does not have double fertilization and so the endosperm made is haploid in nature and not triploid. So it is not contained within in angiosperms as they have ovules inside.

Hope it helped...
