cylinder of capacity 20 DM cube is filled with gas X the mass of which is 10 gram. when the same cylinder is filled with hydrogen gas at the same temperature and pressure the mass of the hydrogen is 2 gram. hence find the relative molecular mass of the gas

● Explanation -
# Given -
Wx = 10 g
Wh = 2 h
V = 20 dm^3

# Solution -
According to Avogardo's law -
nx = nh when Vx = Vh

Substituting values,
Wx/Mx = Wh/Mh
10/Mx = 2/1
Mx = 10 × 1 / 2
Mx = 5 g/mol

Therefore, relative molecular mass of gas X is 5 g/mol.
