Let the radius of cylindrical rod be R.
Height of cylindrical rod = 8R
Volume of cylindrical rod = πR²H
=> 22/7 × (R)² × 8R
=> 22 × 8R³ / 7
=>( 176R³ /7 )
Radius of spherical boll = R
VOLUME of spherical boll = 4/3 πR³
=> 4/3 × 22/7 × R³
=> ( 4 × 22 × R³ ) / 21
=> 88R³ / 21
Number of spherical boll that can be made from the cylindrical rod = Volume of rod/Volume of each spherical boll
=> 176R³ / 7 / 88R³ / 21
=> 176R³ / 7 × 21 / 88R³
=> ( 176 × 21) / ( 7 × 88)
=> 3696/ 616
=> 6.
