Hi friend,
Radius of the tank=7m
Height of the tank=3m
CSA of the cylinder=2pi*r*h
=2*22/7*7*3
=132m of the sheet will be needed.
But if the tank is having base and top so we have to find TSA that is
pi*r^2+2pi*r+pi*r^2.
I m not sure about the answer..............

formula for finding the curved surface area is 2 nrh
therefore we get,
2 * 22/7 *7 * 3
=132
hence the sheet of metal required is 132 m
but if u want to cover the whole tank then u can find by using the formula total surface area of cylinder 2nr( h + r)
therefore we get,
