cylindrical tank with a volume of 2205 ml, a pipe is connected to the tank and fills water in it at a speed of 220 ml per minute and a tap is connected to the tank which is open at all times and the speed of the flow of water from the tank is 24 ml per minute.

The volume of cylindrical tank = 2205 ml

We will assume the time taken to fill up the tank be T

And the volume of water from the tank would be 24T

And the volume of water would be 220T ml after T minutes

Now we will solve the question:

220T - 24T = 2205  

196T = 2205  

T = 11.25 minutes

= 11.25 × 60

= 675 sec
