find the area of the whole quadrant by πr^2/4 and then find the area of the smaller quadrant and the subtract.

what is the question? can you please tell?
if you need the area for the shaded portion, then
at first we need to take out the area of the bigger quadrant and then the smaller quadrant and then to get the area of shaded portion,
area of bigger quadrant -area of small quadrant.
the formula for the area of quadrant is πr^2/4.
