In a parallelogram ABCD, if ZA = (2x + 35)° and ZC = (3x – 5)..
Find : (1) the value of x (ii) measure of each angle of ABCD.
(Hint: ZA = 2C, ZB = 2D and ZA + B + 2C + 2D = 360°.)

In ∥gm opposite angles are supplementary.

Therefore,

∠B+∠D=180

2x+25+3x−5=180

x=

5

180−20

=32

∠B=2x+25=(2∗32)+25=89

∠D=3x−5=(3∗32)−5=91
