men =8days

1 man = 8*12= 96 days

1 man in 1 day = 1/96 of the work

12 men in 3 days do 3/8 of the work

work remaining =5/8

15 men in 1 day do 15/96 = 5/32 of the work

So 5/8 will take 32/5 x 5/8 = 4 more days ANSWER

12 men - 8 days

12 men - 1 day can do 1/8 th of the work

Theoretically, 1 man in 1 day can do 1/8 * 1/12 th of the work or 1/(12*8) = 1/96

So 15 men in 1 day would do 15*1/96 th of the work = 15/96 = 5/32

12 men in 3 days would have completed 3*1/8 of the work = 3/8

Remainder work = 1–3/8 = 5/8

To complete 5/8 th work, 15 men will take 5/8/5/32 = 5/8 * 32/5 = 4 days

C) 4
