In triangle CEB ,

ANGLE B = 90° [ ANGLE OF RECTANGLE ]

ACC. TO ANGLE SUM PROPERTY OF TRIANGLE,

angle C + angle E + angle B = 180°

angle C + angle E + 90° = 180°

angle C + angle E = 180°- 90°

angle C + angle E = 90° (eq. 1st)

let angle C and angle E be 2x and 3x respectively

putting value of angle C and angle E in eq. 1st

2x + 3x = 90°

5x = 90°

x = 90/5 °

x = 18°

therefore

angle C = 2x = 2×18 = 36°

angle E = 3x = 3×18 = 54°
