  • Breadth = 3 m
  • Height = 12 cm

So to fill it with sand upto depth of 12 cm, we need to find volume of the box. But before that let's change unit of Height into metre.

  • Height = 12/100 m = 0.12 m

According to the Question :

⇒ Volume = Length × Breadth × Height

⇒ Volume = 2 m × 3 m × 0.12 m

Volume = 0.72 m³

0.72 cubic metres sand are needed.
