if the force act in different directions

then resultant will be 10

and if they act in same direction

resultant will be = 30

so answer is between 10 and 30

Because option D does not have an upper bound (a maximum limit) and we know the maximum resultant force, from individual forces of 10N and 20N can be 30N.

Option D implies it can be any force greater than 10N. For e.g.: 100N, which is clearly incorrect and hence option D is incorrect.
