3.the main objective of the planting trees during van mahotsav are to : provide fuel. Increase production of fruits and add to the potential food resources of the country. Help creation of shelter belts around agricultural fields to increase their productivity.

4.The trees clean the air ,trees absorb odours and pollutants gases (nitrogen oxides, ammonia,sulfur dioxide and ozone) and filters particulates out of the air by trapping them in their leaves and barks.
