Answer:

1. The child 's mother was melted with the free spirit of the day and hence was tender. On the other hand the child's father was very stubborn and looked at him red eyed (in anger) at his wish.

2. Robert Frost is an American poet who writes simply, but insightfully, about common, ordinary experience. In the poem - 'The Road Not Taken', the road symbolizes our life. The poet says that the path that we don't choose in our life is 'the road not taken'.

3. The man offered the child a ride on a roundabout. This shows that he was soft and kind hearted. He was not selfish and was very peaceful and tender. He tries to soothe the child this shows his patience.

4.Tommy called a real book a waste because when we are through with the book we have to throw it away. He thinks that his telebook is better because it has millions of book in it and can store a plenty more.

5. Near the entrance of the temple the crowd was very thick, men jostled each other. Heavy men with murderous eyes and hefty shoulders. The child would had been trampled underfoot if he had not shrieked at his high pitch voice.
