Answer:

1 We need food because food gives us energy. Food we eat gives our body essential nutrients to help us grow and heal when we are injured or we are ill. Thus food keeps us healthey and provide us essential nutrients to fight diseases.

2 Humans most commonly eat the seeds (e.g. maize, wheat), fruit (e.g. tomato, avocado, banana), flowers (e.g. broccoli), leaves (e.g. lettuce, spinach, and cabbage), roots (e.g. carrots, beets), and stems (e.g. asparagus, ginger) of many plants.

3.Spices add flavour and aroma to the food. They are also used for preserving foods. Some of the spices have medicinal values.

4.The phytonutrients in honey are responsible for its antioxidant properties, as well as its antibacterial and antifungal power. They're also thought to be the reason raw honey has shown immune-boosting and anticancer benefits. Heavy processing destroys these valuable nutrients.

5. There is a wide variety of cooking oils from plant sources such as olive oil, palm oil, soybean oil, canola oil (rapeseed oil), corn oil, peanut oil and other vegetable oils, as well as animal-based oils like butter and lard.Rice (mainly Oryza sativa)

Wheat, bread wheat (Triticum aestivum)

Durum wheat, macaroni wheat (Triticum durum)

Corn or maize (Zea mays)

Job's Tears, salay, adlay, tigbe, pawas (Coix lachryma-jobi)

Barley (Hordeum vulgare)

Millet (Panicum miliaceum, Eleusine coracana, Setaria italica, Pennisetum glaucum)

6.A parasitic relationship is one in which one organism, the parasite, lives off of another organism, the host, harming it and possibly causing death. The parasite lives on or in the body of the host. A few examples of parasites are tapeworms, fleas, and barnacles.
