BaCl₂ + H₂SO₄ → BaSO₄ + HCl

1) First, check is the number of chlorine atoms are equal on both sides of the equation. The RHS of the equation is lacking one chlorine. So we multiply HCl by 2 to get 2 chlorines.

Then we will get the equation as:

BaCl₂ + H₂SO₄ → BaSO₄ + 2HCl -------(a)

2) Now check if the number of hydrogen atoms are equal in equation (a)

Since LHS and RHS have equal number of hydrogens, there is no need to balance more.

3) Similarly all the other atoms are also balanced in both sides of the equation.

Thus final equation is

BaCl₂ + H₂SO₄ → BaSO₄ + 2HCl
