d) Avoid water from flooded rivers or water from streams that have passed through farmland or built-up areas. Boil all water collected in this way before use. If it is not possible to boil water, use bleach or chlorine-based products for disinfection. ... Stir well and let the water stand for at least half an hour before use.

e) Every building that is taller than a specified height needs to have lightning protection systems installed and certified by experts from the Electrical Inspectorate in Kerala. Other places also will have similar laws. And, depending on the use to which the building is put, it may not be just a lightning conductor at the top. There may be many and there could be other systems also in place.
