Spraying of DDT alongside other farm chemicals leads to the pollution of the air , soil and water. Whey DDT is sprayed on crops , there are drops of the chemical that drop on the ground , they lead to pollution of the soil by causing problems such as raising or lowering of the soil PH .

DDT is dichloro diphenyl trichloro ethane it causes soil and water pollution both because when we spray it on crops it is absorbed by sediments of soil and then by rain water they sinks into river or ground water which cause water pollution also.

And these chemicals were trapped in biological chain.

So we have to avoid these instead of this we can use Margo leaves for fertilizer.
