Once upon a time lived a woodcutter and his only child. One day, the woodcutter went out, leaving the child asleep in his cot. The baby was being watched over by his pet dog. The woodcutter returned late and, to his shock, was greeted by the pet with his mouth blood-stained. The woodcutter, thinking that the dog attacked his baby, killed the dog in anger. Later on, he found the child safe and fast asleep with a dead Cobra lying beside it. The woodcutter then realised what had happened. The dog had killed the cobra to save the baby. The woodcutter then realised his mistake and repented for the blunder.

• The woodcutter went out, leaving the child asleep and watched over by his pet dog returned later, greeted by the pet with his mouth blood-stained without checking anything, The woodcutter killed the dog in anger. And was crying over that his child is no more and the dog too.
• Later found the child safe and a dead Cobra lying beside him. After seeing his child is safe he was very happy and picked up his child.
• The looks very scared as he has seen it all by his naked eyes.
• The woodcutter regrets as he killed the dog who hasn't done anything
• Instead that he protected his child from the cobra. Later Repented for the blunder and the dog was very angry
