To prove d/dx log x = 1/x

Explanation:

Put y = log x

e^y = x

Now, differentiate with respect to x

e^y dy/dx = 1

dy/dx = 1/e^y

put value of y

dy/dx = 1/e^log x

dy/dx = 1/x
