d/dx of sin³x- cos³x

Solution :

we know that

(1) d/dx(sin x )= cos x

(2) d/dx (cos x )= - sin x

(3) d/dx(x^n)= n x^(n-1)

so,

d/dx(sin³ x - cis³x)

= d/dX(sin³x)- d/dx (cos³x )

= 3 sin²x d/dx(sin x) - 3 cos² x d/dx(cos x)

= 3sin² x cos x - 3 cos ²x (-sin x)

= 3 sin ² x cos x + 3 co x sin x

or,

= 3 sin x cos x( sin x + cos x)
