1:4 because FD is line joining from F to D from mid point to mid point ,and same to DE and EF so DEF is equilateral triangle. ABC is also equilateral triangle.So DF =BD=BF. DE=EC=CD . EF=FA=AE. so there are four equal areas of triangles.So area of DEF upon ABC is 1:4
